Italianità at Lake Thun

Karin Villiger and Pascal Sonderegger created with their Osteria da Pasquale at the “Chartreuse” in Hünibach their own little Italy. This specialty restaurant impresses with authentic charm and a varied menu. Over the warmer months, the “Chartreuse”-Team treats its guests additionally at the “Buvette” next to the Lake Thun.

Brasato, Fregola Sarda and homemade Pasta – not only the well-known classics are being served in this traditional Osteria. Chef Leonardo from Rome and his staff create authentic cuisine with a touch of vacation.

 

This is also reflected in the interior of the restaurant: warm, inviting and without frills – you feel like you are in Italy. The offer is rounded off by the large wine cellar with over 80 wines. As an authentic Osteria should, “Da Pasquale” opens its doors for everyone, whether one is there for a beer after work, for an aperitive or want to taste the assorted specialties of the house.

Italianità is guaranteed in the Osteria da Pasquale.

The three-star Hotel Chartreuse offers 16 renovated rooms. As a certified bike and hiking hotel, it disposes of a large bike container as well as a charging and a cleaning station.

Pasta is always delicious!

The family business runs another jewel right next to the Lake Thun: the “Buvette”. Various small delicacies are being offered with a view of the mountain panorama from March to October on the Ländtematte in Hünibach. From the coffee roastery to the butcher on to the brewery, the focus here is entirely on local producers. The aim of Pascal Sonderegger and his team is very simple: they want to satisfy all guests in the community’s public square from early in the morning until late at night.
