In silver with white gold – designed together to resemble a lunar landscape – this cuff bracelet features a blue moissanite, a stone that originally came to Earth in a meteorite.

Playing with light and shadow

The Silberschmiede in Thun is not only known for the hand-forged silver and gold jewellery it produces, but also for the fact that Yvonne Schediwy and Sara Lehmann constantly find special inspiration for new collections. This time, they found it in the interplay of light and shadow and the unique ability of diamonds to reflect and refract light. In keeping with the winter season, which brings not only light and shadow but also a competition between warmth and cold, they are launching a small, exquisite winter collection in November.

Yvonne Schediwy is the owner and founder of the Silberschmiede, which she established in 1994. Here she is wearing
the sunshine set in gold.

The inspiration for the winter collection was the play of light and shadow during the cold season, which is known for its sensuality and sombre mood. This was complemented by philosophical considerations that light and shadow cannot exist without each other, which also influenced the design. For anyone who would like to see the jewellery and their interplay with light in person, the collection will be launched on 8 November at the Silberschmiede.

Sara Lehmann is the managing director and has been with the jewellery boutique since 2008. She is wearing the moonlight set in silver with blue diamonds.
