Satellit

Since 2019, the Kunstraum Satellit Thun on Guisanplatz has provided space for contemporary artworks, performances and events. Originally a kiosk, the space has developed into a lively meeting place for art lovers and passers-by. The focus is on dialogue between art and the public, making the Satellit a permanent fixture in the cultural landscape. With the aim of bringing in new perspectives, the curatorial management has been placed in younger hands. Odilia Nowacki and Jonah Wyler have recently taken over the task and are leading the Satellit into an exciting future. satellit.space

Sandra Thomi

After many years of stage experience, singer Sandra Thomi from Hilterfingen has started to write and compose her own songs. This has resulted in her very own musical style, which she arranges and performs as lead singer together with the ensemble Tiara's Garden. They are currently giving a special series of concerts around Lake Thun, which take place in the region's twelve 1000-year-old churches. Each concert is specially tailored to the respective church and its local community.

The Hotel Seepark regularly hosts exciting art exhibitions that are freely accessible to all visitors. Each exhibition opens with a vernissage, accompanied by an aperitif at which the artist is present in person. The exhibited works are predominantly by Swiss artists, many of them from the region. Visitors to the exhibitions can enjoy impressive art here; one participant at a conference even had a Swiss sculpture sent all the way to New York.
